Nia Konstantinova (1992) is a Bulgarian hybrid cultural creature based in Rotterdam. She is active in the fields of publicity, production, curatorship and image-making. She thrives behind the scenes and is excited about creating spotlights for people and stories which lack representation. At the moment, she is contributing to the programming committee at VHDG, the PR & Communications team of WORM Rotterdam and BARTALK.
Konstantinova's film production debut Heart of Hunger (2018) won Silver Leopard at the 71st Locarno Film Festival. And the first feature film she worked on, Feast (2021) was nominated for the grand price at IFFR and mades its US debut at MoMA (October 2021).
As an artist, she has exhibited internationally in venues such as Sign (Groningen, The Netherlands), Foundation for Contemporary Art and Media (Sofia, Bulgaria), University of Art Vienna (Vienna, Austria), New Bridge Project Space (Newcastle, UK), The Performance Bar (Rotterdam, The Netherlands). As well as selected completed artistic residencies such as Kunsthuis SYB (The Netherlands), EEA (Berlin), Asematila (Helsinki), Gallery Bokboden (Bergen, Norway), Tomma Rum (Sweden), EAST SIDE WEST SIDE (Sofia, Bulgaria).​
